Ethereum loses 20% of its value but investors continue to be bullish
The price of the Ether (ETH) rose 20 percent from March 3 to March 13, peaking near $4,100, but then underwent a 20 percent correction, falling to $3,200 on March 19. Analysts believe the initial surge was driven by overleveraged long positions. The forced liquidation of $375 million in ETH futures has dampened the bullish momentum, raising doubts about whether the Ether can halt its correction and begin a new upward run.
Game development on blockchain will get easier: Partner between Google and Sequence
Sequence, a Horizon Blockchain game platform, has partnered with Google Cloud to integrate its full-stack web3 game development suite into the cloud platform. This partnership aims to simplify the process for web3 developers to use build tools through Google's standard cloud computing platform. Horizon Blockchain Games, founded in 2019, raised $53.3 million by 2022 through various funding rounds, driven by its NFT/trading card game "Skyweaver" and tech stack. Sequence offers a comprehensive web3 developer platform covering wallets, marketplaces, smart contracts, analytics, and more, with plugins for Unity, Unreal, web, and mobile. The partnership will see full-stack integration of the Sequence development platform with Google Cloud.
What are Blackrock and Securitize doing? : tokenized equity fund...
BlackRock is partnering with Securitize to launch a tokenized private equity fund, signaling greater involvement in digital assets. The fund, called the USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund, requires a minimum investment of $100,000. BlackRock has filed a notice with the SEC, indicating estimated sales fees but without specifying a launch date. The sale will be conducted through Securitize Markets. A token called BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) was created on the Ethereum blockchain, with a maximum of 100 tokens, but currently has only one holder.
An educational project with NFTs...
Changpeng Zhao, former CEO of Binance, announced his new project called Giggle Academy, which aims to provide free basic education to underprivileged children around the world. The platform will offer gamified educational content from grades 1 to 12, using points, scores, leaderboards and NFT badges. It is a "zero-income platform," which initially does not involve the use of cryptocurrency, although a "learn to earn" system is planned for the future.
